Blown Forms | Vessels | 2.5 Hours
Course Description
Discover the art of creating hollow glass vessels in this hands-on flameworking class. Designed for intermediate students, we can also tailor this workshop to beginners as we introduce you to the techniques needed to craft delicate, functional forms such as hummingbird feeders and mini vases.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of working with borosilicate glass tubing, including: blowing and shaping hollow forms, heat control and wall thickness management, creating openings for functional design, color application and decorative techniques.
With a mix of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice, this class provides a solid foundation for anyone interested in expanding their glassworking skills.
