Course Description

Once a month, we invite you to take a seat at the table and experience the art of glass flameworking. Each month, we’ll introduce a new rotating project, so whether you’re joining us for the first time or coming back for more, there will always be something fresh to explore. (Bring a friend!)

This welcoming, hands-on class is designed for beginners and structured like a regular studio session, blending lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice to keep you fully engaged. As a foundational glass lampworking course, students will learn about the tools and equipment in the glass studio while practicing techniques such as color application, marvering with paddles and graphite molds, shaping, hot sculpting, and attachment sealing.

This class is about accessibility and community. There’s no set fee — simply contribute what feels right or bring something to trade. All are welcome.
